Using your iPad in class but it keeps powering down on you, causing you to have to reconnect multiple times in a class session?

This can be incredibly frustrating, especially during a live class session. The good news is that you can adjust your Auto-Lock settings to keep your device from going to sleep as quickly.
- Access the Settings app (gear icon).
- In the Settings app, find and select the Display & Brightness tab on the left hand side.
- Choose Auto-Lock at the bottom of the Display & Brightness menu.
- Select the number of minutes (2, 5, 10, or 15) you’d like to set your iPad to lock after.
The factory default setting is 2 minutes, so if you are teaching from your iPad, it is recommended that you increase the time setting with the instructions above to avoid having to reconnect to AppleTV during your class.
